I’m the Creative Director at Sponge, a creative agency in Norwich. I lead a talented team, setting the direction and shaping the work – but I stay close to it. Hands-on, strategic, and commercially aware, making sure what we create not only looks good, but works hard.
 

With over 15 years’ experience across agencies and freelance, I’ve worked across a wide mix of sectors – from property, construction and FMCG to public sector, hospitality, and education. Different industries, same job: understand the challenge, and find the simplest, most compelling way to communicate it.

Branding sits at the heart of what I do, but I’m a broad creative by nature. From digital and print to art direction, UI/UX, environments, and copywriting – I follow the idea wherever it needs to go, and make sure it holds together at every touchpoint.

I’ve worked with startups, scale-ups, and global organisations, but the size has never mattered much. It’s the challenge, the people behind it, and the opportunity to make something meaningful.
